The International Latino Gang Investigators Association is a non-profit, organization dedicated to providing high quality training for law enforcement professionals. In 2002, ILGIA held their first annual conference in Seattle, Washington. Our 18 years of success can be attributed to our commitment to providing up-to-date training, our global following and membership and our continued response to emerging trends. Gangs on all levels present the biggest threat to global safety and the enforcement of these gangs are crucial to a civilized and safe society. The world of gangs is a challenging and exciting area in which to work and study, and we will continue to ensure ILGIA remains on the forefront of gang training. Our members include: local, state, and federal peace officers, prosecutors, law enforcement personnel, and other national and international associates.
ILGIA provides training throughout the United States, Mexico and Central America. In 2019, we provided gang seminars in Prince Georges County, Maryland; Santa Rosa, California; Ontario, California; and Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2020, the line-up is similar with our northern California seminar will be in Campbell.
Last year, ILGIA established a partnership with the Mob Museum in Las Vegas where we held a panel discussion on “Survival in Cartel Land.” The panel discussion for this August is currently being discussed.
Our ILGIA Board of Directors consists of experts in the field of gangs and organized crime and our advisors are truly legends of the gang enforcement world.
Lastly, the Board would also like to thank each of you for choosing the ILGIA training seminars. We understand training funds are very limited and choices are vast. Be sure to visit us at www.ilgiaonline.org.
